Party In-Kindness & Generation Pure Movie Night (Feb. 2015)
At the Danville Village Theatre, guests enjoyed a private screening of this thought provoking documentary on a subject that affects us all. “Unacceptable Levels opens the door to conversations about the chemical burden our bodies carry so that we can make informed decisions now and in the future." Guests were entered into a raffle for amazing prizes donated by local businesses that believe in living a healthy, chemical free lifestyle. Most importantly, 50% of the ticket purchase went to providing non-toxic, organic pajamas for a child in need. Our choice of sleepwear is an important one because of the amount of time a child spends wearing them while sleeping. For that reason, we believe that every child deserves to rest peacefully, snuggled in pajamas that are non-toxic and free of harmful flame retardants.
Pajamas were donated to Love-A-Child Missions & Shelter, Inc. of Contra Costa. Love-A-Child Missions "provides women and children services that help end their crisis of homelessness and substance abuse". SHELTER, Inc. "provides families life-long tools [to prevent and end homelessness] that allow them to transform their lives and the future of their children."
