Bay Area Crisis Nursery - “The purpose of the Bay Area Crisis Nursery is to prevent abuse and neglect of children by providing support to families who are in stress or crisis. Our primary service is providing a warm, loving, homelike environment for children birth through eleven years of age by offering 24 hour residential care.”
Children’s Hospital, Child Life Services, Oakland - “When a child stays in the hospital for any length of time, it’s easy for his or her whole world to be consumed by all things medical. At Children’s Hospital & Research Center Oakland, we make it our priority to ensure this never happens. Here a child’s life continues even when health problems get in the way."
Rooms of Hope - "Our mission is to provide dream room makeovers to children with life-threatening illnesses. Our purpose is to surround these children with love and co-create the space of their dreams, may it be their bedroom, playroom or other refuge away from all the medical tests and treatments they must endure at the hospital. We are about bringing hope and joy to seriously ill children as they literally fight for their lives. These spaces are very personal and are built to represent the child’s unique personality, filled with everything that is meaningful to our Rooms of Hope children."

Elizabeth House - Oakland - is a residential transitional program for women with children who have experienced homelessness, violence, addiction, and/or poverty. We provide a nurturing, cooperative environment with resources that aid their transition to independence.
